The Office of Polar Programs (OPP) in the Directorate for Geosciences is seeking a qualified candidate for the executive officer position.

The executive officer is an OPP senior management team member and participates with the OPP office director in providing overall leadership and direction to the staff. The executive officer contributes to and maintains knowledge of overall planning and directions and is among the senior management that can act as the office director in their absence. The executive officer coordinates and manages the activities of the front office staff who serve the needs of all the OPP sections and senior management and the needs of the Geosciences Directorate and the U.S. National Science Foundation.
