NSF funded Ambi Robotics creates artificial intelligence-powered robotic systems that help sort a wide range of packages and parcels, including cardboard boxes, polybags, bubble mailers and envelopes. The company's innovative technology allows its robots to autonomously pick and pack millions of unique items with customized configurations. Ambi’s robot arms have suction cups for fingers to easily grip and sort parcels quickly into containers for distribution. 🦾
The company’s hashtag#AI operating system, called AmbiOS, uses simulation-to-reality technology to train robots in simulation before deployment in warehouses. This technology helps reduce workplace injuries, improve the efficiency and accuracy of parcel sorting and meet the increasing demand of e-commerce. 📦
